ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- Senior Kaeli Jones has earned all-conference honors. The American Athletic Conference released its women's golf all-conference team Wednesday afternoon.
The honor marked Jones' first selection to The American's all-conference team. Jones finished fifth at the American Athletic Conference Championship, which concluded Tuesday at the Hammock Beach Resort Conservatory Course in Palm Coast, Fla.
"Kaeli had a very good spring for us and she's definitely deserving of all-conference honors," UCF head coach Emily Marron said. "I was very proud of the way she led our team at the conference tournament this week."
Jones has been the Knights' top golfer all season, pacing her team with a 73.7 scoring average. Jones will await word on a bid to NCAA Regional action. Those bids will be announced April 25.
