ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF rowing team continues its season this weekend, making its fourth-straight appearance at the Clemson Invitational.
The races on Lake Hartwell will span a two-day period that begins on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
The Knights will face a strong field of competition this weekend as eight of the 21 teams are ranked in the Top 20 nationally with an additional five teams receiving votes. No. 4 Ohio State, No. 9 Virginia, No. 12 Wisconsin, No. 13 USC, No. 15 Washington State, No. 17 Indiana, No. 18 Syracuse, and No. 20 Oklahoma are joined by RV Louisville, RV Minnesota, RV Duke, RV UCLA, RV Oregon State.
For the second straight weekend, a pair of American Athletic Conference teams will line up against each other as Tulsa joins UCF in the field.
UCF displayed a solid performance in its previous outing, winning both the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight races with times of 6:24.60 and 6:31.20, respectively.
The Knights' Second Varsity Eight was named The American's Boat of the Week on March 19 following a dominant performance on Lake Pickett.
