AUGUSTA, Ga. (UCFKnights.com) - Bobby Bai paced the Knights men's golf team shooting eight under par in the final round of the 3M Augusta Invitational Sunday afternoon at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.

UCF placed ninth overall after shooting six under par on Sunday and five over for all three rounds.

Kyler Tate led UCF and finished tied for ninth overall with a score of 69 on Sunday to finish the day three under. For the three rounds, Tate shot a 212, just seven strokes off the first place finisher.

Bai finished the Invitational three over par to shoot 219, while Donnie Trosper also finished with a 219 after shooting four over in the third round.

Tommy Cao recorded a 74 on day two to cap off the tournament seven over par and Manuel Elvira posted a 75 on Sunday for a 227 for three rounds.

UCF finished in front of No. 21 UCLA, No. 40 Marquette, and host Augusta.

The Knights registered 18 birdies on Sunday along with an eagle from Bai on the 17th hole.

Next Up
UCF will head north to West Lafayette, Ind. to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational hosted by Purdue. The Invitational will take place on April 14 and 15 and the lineup for the tournament will be announced a day prior.

The Boilermaker Invitational will be the final tournament for UCF before heading to the American Athletic Conference Championships in Palm Harbor, Fla beginning on April 22.
