ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – For the second time this season, Rebeka Stolmar has been named American Athletic Conference player of the week for her success on the court.

Stolmar won a pair of straight-set decisions at No. 3 singles and won her only doubles match that was played to completion as UCF scored a 7-0 win against Brown and a 4-1 victory against No. 31 FIU last week, extending the Knights' winning streak to nine matches.

The Budapest, Hungary, native dropped only one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win against Brown and was a 6-4, 6-2 winner against FIU.

Stolmar, along with playing partner Silvia Bordes cruised to a 6-1 victory in the opening doubles match versus Brown.

The freshman has looked experienced past her years in helping the Knights to a historic season. She sits overall at 15-1 in singles play this season.
