LAS VEGAS, Nevada (UCFKnights.com) - The Knights capped off the Southern Highlands Collegiate Wednesday evening in Las Vegas at the Southern Highlands Golf Club with a day three score of 296 and a 900 for all three days.
Donnie Trosper paced UCF on Wednesday shooting one under par with a 71, sinking a pair of birdies to finish two under on the front nine.
Kyler Tate, Manuel Elvira, and Juuso Kahlos each completed the day shooting a 75. Tate had three birdies on the front nine making the turn one under. Tommy Cao rounded out the Knights' day with an 82.
Individually, Trooper and Elvira concluded the Collegiate tied for 62nd each shooting a 226, while Tate came in 66th with a 227.
Florida (-5), Texas Tech (-1), and Southern California (-1) finished top three to close out the third round.
The Knights are back in action on March 18 and 19 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. competing in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at Sawgrass Country Club.
