LAS VEGAS (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF men's golf team is 12th after one round at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
The Knights carded a first-round score of 295 (+7). Floirda (-6), UNLV (-3) and TCU (-1) are the top three teams after 18 holes of play in the 15-team tournament.
Donnie Trosper led the way for the Knights Monday. He was tied for 15th place after oen round and carded a 1-under score of 71. Manuel Elvira (+1) was tied for 33rd. Tommy Cao (+3) was tied for 47th. Kyler Tate (+4) was tied for 50th and Juuso Kahlos (+7) was tied for 70th.
The Knights are set to tee off in Tuesday's second round at 1 p.m. ET.
