ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF rowing team returns to action on Saturday, lining up with Miami and Wisconsin in Sarasota on Saturday.

The Knights will race at Nathan Benderson Park, which will serve as the location of the 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships, on Saturday.

UCF returns to Sarasota for first time since sweeping all six events to claim its third consecutive American Athletic Conference title.

Racing will start at 8:15 a.m.

The Black and Gold are off to a strong start to 2018. After capturing its eighth-straight Robin  Yeuell Trophy in the season-opening Metro Cup, UCF won five events on Lake Pickett in its last outing. The Second Varsity Eight won its race in 6:38.53, which was faster than a trio of boats in the Varsity Eight race. The squad was named The American Boat of the Week on March 19.
