ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The No. 40 UCF men's tennis team will finish off its home-stand this week with visits from No. 38 Arkansas, Wednesday, and No. 46 Princeton Friday, with both matches at 6 p.m.
The Knights (7-6, 0-0) are coming off a stellar week on the court, going 3-0, with two victories over Oracle/ITA top 50 teams.
On March 14, the Black and Gold began their win streak win a 4-2 win over No. 30 Minnesota. They followed that up 4-0 sweep of Indiana two days later.
On Sunday, UCF rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take down No. 50 Miami for a 4-3 victory.
Mikhail Sokolovskiy went 2-1 in singles play, and provided the clinching victories versus the Golden Gophers and Hoosiers.
Korey Lovett and Eero Vasa are amongst the nation's best in doubles play, checking in at a season high No. 7 in the latest rankings.
Arkansas (9-8, 2-4) comes to Orlando fresh off a win over No. 14 Georgia on March 18.
The Razorbacks check in at No. 38 nationally and are led by senior Jose Salazar, who is currently No. 65 in the national singles rankings.
No. 46 Princeton (13-6, 0-0) has won seven of its last eight matches, but fell most recently to common opponent Penn State, also 4-3, on March 17.
The Tigers will first challenge USF in Tampa today before making the trek to the USTA National Campus.
Princeton fields a roster of four seniors, one junior, three sophomores, three and three freshman.
