ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The No. 25 UCF women's tennis team returns to action this week, riding a five-match win streak, for a pair of matches at the USTA National Campus.

The Knights (11-2, 3-0) will welcome Clemson Wednesday for a 3 p.m. match and Yale, Friday for a 5 p.m. start.

UCF has had time to recover and refocus since their double header sweep of Penn State and Memphis March 10. The Black and Gold scored a 5-2 win over the Nittany Lions and a 4-1 victory over American Athletic Conference foe Memphis.

Several Knights are also on win personal win streaks. No. 122 nationally ranked singles player, Rebeka Stolmar has won five singles matches in a row. The freshman also leads the Knights with an 11-1 singles record on the season.  

Monica Matias and Emilia Granstrom have won four matches in a row, and Maria Martinez with a three-match streak.

Clemson (7-8, 1-5) last played March 18 against Boston College, losing 4-3. 

The Tigers will be playing a double-header Wednesday, first challenging Yale (5-8, 0-0) with a 10 a.m. match at the USTA National Campus, before taking on UCF.

The Tigers are led by Marie Leduc, who checks in at No. 21 in the Oracle/ITA Division I singles rankings. Leduc and Fernanda Navarro also rank No. 34 in doubles play.

Yale was last in action March 16 when they fell to No. 50 William & Mary, 6-1.

The Bulldogs field a roster of three seniors, two juniors and three first years and are captained by senior Sunday Swett.
