PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF men's golf team capped off The Hayt Invitational placing fourth out of 15 teams finishing ahead of Jacksonville, No. 43 Purdue, No. 25 North Florida, and No. 39 Louisville. The Knights shot an 869 total for the three days, just five over par.

In the final round UCF posted a 292, four over par with Bobby Bai, Kyler Tate, and Donnie Trosper all shooting par. Manuel Elvira rounded out the second day with four over par.

Tate finished tied for eighth overall and closed out the Invitational three under par over the three rounds, while Trosper settled with one over.

Individually, Jake Grula shot 246 in his three rounds combined.

As a team, UCF converted the second most birdies of the tournament with 53 and parred the third most holes with an average of 3.09.

Next up for the Knights is a trip north to Augusta, Georgia to compete in the 3M Augusta Invitational from Saturday, March 31 to Sunday, April 1.
