ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's tennis team continues to climb the national rankings, as the Knights move up to No. 24 in the latest ORACLE/ITA Division I team rankings.
This continues the highest national ranking in school history for the Black and Gold, after coming in at No. 25 last week.
UCF was 3-0 this past week, with wins over ETSU, Penn State and Memphis.
The Knights won 6-1 over ETSU, 5-2 over Penn State, and 4-1 over American Athletic Conference foe Memphis.
Maria Martinez helped pace the Knights going 2-0 in both singles and doubles play in the victories.
Rebeka Stolmar, who checks in at No. 92 in the national singles rankings, was a perfect 3-0 in singles play this week.
UP NEXT
The Knights will have some time to recover and continue to improve, as they do not play again until March 21 when they welcome Clemson to the USTA National Campus for a 3 p.m. match.
