Hosting the Hokies and Cardinals

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF Knights take a break from the road with a pair of home games on Tuesday, March 6 at the UCF Softball Complex hosting both the Virginia Tech Hokies and Ball State Cardinals. The Knights and Hokies battle first at 12:30 p.m. followed by a matchup with the Cardinals at 3 p.m. One dollar hot dogs will also be on sale for the two contests.

Both games will feature Gametracker live stats and will be streamed via ucfknights.tv.

THE FIELD
Virginia Tech: 10-8 overall in 2018; 0-3 in the series with the Hokies.
Ball State: 11-5 this season; 3-2 all-time against the Cardinals including a pair of victories in 2016 at the UCF Softball Complex.

RECAPPING LAST WEEKEND
The Knights are coming off a 2-2 weekend in the San Diego Classic including a 3-0 win over No. 22 Long Beach State. In the game, Kaitlyn Jensen hit two solo home runs and Alea White allowed only five hits.

UCF also took down Santa Clara in four-and-a-half innings defeating the Broncos, 9-1. Tamesha Glover delivered a grand slam and Jensen hit another solo shot.
White finished 2-0 with a 0.98 ERA striking out 12 in 14.1 innings pitched.

SEASON TICKETS
