ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After spending the last month on the road, the No. 36 UCF women's tennis team returns to the USTA National Campus for a pair of weekend matches. The Knights (6-2, 1-0) will battle No. 25 Michigan at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in College Matchday and then face American Athletic Conference foe ECU Sunday at 11 a.m.

The College Matchday Series features fourteen of the country's top NCAA Division I teams who will play at the National Campus' 1,200-seat collegiate stadium throughout the season live on the Tennis Channel. Admission is free and will feature kids' activities, live music, specialty food and drinks, games and giveaways on-site.

UCF returns to Orlando after two separate trips to Texas during the month of February. The Knights went 2-1 in the Lone Star State, with victories over SMU on Feb. 9 and No. 16 Baylor on Feb. 11.

The Black and Gold's most recent match versus Texas A&M on Feb. 25 was canceled due to weather.

The Knights' doubles play has continued to ignite the team, with an overall 15-5 combined record on the season. The pairing of Ksenia Kuznetsova and Maria Martinez have paced the women with a 5-1 mark on the year, while the freshman duo of Rebeka Stolmar and Silvia Bordes lead the team with six doubles wins this season.  

Stolmar and Bordes have impressed in singles play this season as well. The Hungarian native Stolmar sits at 6-1 on the year, while Bordes is 5-2.

No. 25 Michigan (4-5, 0-0) comes to Orlando off back-to-back losses, including most recently at No. 1 North Carolina on Feb. 18.

Junior Kate Fahey is currently No. 17 in the ORACLE/ITA Division I singles rankings for the Wolverines, while sophomore Chiara Lommer checks in at No. 51. Brienne Minor and Mira Ruder-Hook are ar No. 41 in the doubles rankings for Michigan. 

ECU (6-3, 1-0) has won three of their last four matches, but most recently dropped a 5-2 contest to Coastal Carolina on Feb. 24.

Junior Celia Ruiz is currently No. 49 nationally in singles, leading a roster of three seniors, two juniors, two sophomores, and four freshman for the Pirates.
