ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF track and field team continues its indoor season with the Music City Challenge on Friday in Nashville.
The two-day meet will take place at Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility on the campus of the Vanderbilt University.
A trio of field events will kick off the action on Friday, as the high jump, weight throw and long jump are slated for 5 p.m. starts.
The Knights look to continue their strong start to the indoor season after collecting six top-five finishes at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational last weekend. Rosie Chamberlain captured the 800m title, while Gabby Durant set a personal record on her way to a second place finish in the weight throw. Alissa Williams and Shaniya Williams finished third and fourth, respectively, in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
