ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After four straight matches on the road, the UCF men's tennis team will finally make its home debut at the USTA National Campus on Wednesday. The Knights will face North Florida at 6 p.m. for their final match in February.

UCF (2-2) returns home after a come-from-behind 6-1 victory at Auburn on Sunday afternoon. After falling in doubles, the Black and Gold rallied to claim all six singles points. Gabriel Decamps, Alan Rubio, Mikhail Sokolovskiy and Danny Kerznerman all won in straight sets to clinch the match, before Eero Vasa and Korey Lovett made it a clean singles sweep with three-set victories.

The Knights are on a two-match winning streak after beating UC Davis in Los Angeles on Jan. 28 as a part of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Vasa and Lovett have been unstoppable at No. 1 doubles with a perfect 3-0 record, including a win over the No. 1 ranked pairing in the nation from Florida.

Wednesday night will be the first home match for a quartet of rookies. Vasa, Rubio, Sokolovskiy and Decamps started their collegiate careers against tough opposition on the road. Rubio, in just his first match for the Knights, picked up a ranked win over No. 39 Duarte Vale from Florida.

North Florida (3-3) opened the year with a 4-0 win over Florida A&M on Jan. 13, but dropped three of their next four, including a 4-0 decision to No. 2 Ohio State. The Ospreys downed Troy on Friday by a score of 6-1.

Following the match on Wednesday night, the Knights will be off until March 3 against Michigan at the USTA National Campus for College MatchDay, which will be televised on the Tennis Channel.
