ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's basketball team looks to rebound after a home loss when the Knights take on no. 8 Cincinnati Tuesday night. The two teams are set to tip off at 7 p.m. from BB&T Arena in Highland Heights, Ky.

Cincinnati (21-2, 10-0) has won 14 straight games after defeating UConn on the road on Saturday. The Bearcats are a perfect 10-0 in league play going into Tuesday's matchup with the Knights.

UCF (14-8, 5-5), which also recently defeated UConn, fell at home to Houston its last time out. The Knights will look to upset Cincinnati for the second straight year after defeating the then no. 15 Bearcats 53-49 last season to spoil their chance at The American regular season title.

When the two teams square off earlier this season, Cincinnati won 49-38 at CFE Arena. The Knights were never able to get anything going offensively in the first game back for B.J. Taylor.

Taylor is now back in what has seemed like full rhythm, averaging 18.0 points and 4.0 assists per game over the last four contests. The point guard put up 25 in the win at USF and had 20 in the recent victory over UConn.

The Knights will look to prevent Player of the Year candidate Gary Clark from having the type of performance he had in Orlando. Clark went for 17 points and 15 rebounds in the 11-point victory for the Bearcats.

Cincinnati owns a 9-1 advantage over UCF in the all-time series, having only been defeated in the game late last season. The Bearcats have won all three games played in Cincinnati.

Though it is technically a home game, Tuesday's contest will be played at Northern Kentucky's BB&T Arena due to renovations at Firth Third Arena.
