ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Volleyball head coach Todd Dagenais will assist with tryouts for the USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team. After wrapping up his 10th year with the Knights, Dagenais will help assess the nation's elite talent this weekend.
"Of all the USA programs that I've been a part of in the last 15 years, the USA Collegiate National Team is very special to me," Dagenais said. "This is a great opportunity for so many talented players to go on and represent the United States in the Olympics in 2020 and 2024, as well as other international competitions. I am incredibly grateful to once again be selected to assist in the tryouts."
More than 230 student-athletes from 90 colleges and universities across the country will converge on Colorado Springs, Colo., March 2-4 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
Instead of focusing on one position, Dagenais will work alongside U.S. Women's National Team head coach Karch Kiraly and his staff to evaluate potential USA Collegiate National Team members, a squad Dagenais has coached three times before.
Outside of the USA training session on Sunday morning, all sessions will be streamed live at www.TeamUSA.org. Fans can also follow on Team USA's social media platforms on Twitter (@USAVolleyball), Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
