ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After two weeks of training, the UCF men's tennis team returns to action Wednesday when they take on Stetson at 5 p.m at the USTA National Campus.

The Knights (3-2) are riding a three-match win streak, including a 6-1 victory over UNF on Feb. 7 in their last contest.

UCF also holds a 4-1 victory over UC Davis on Jan. 28 and a 6-1 win at Auburn on Feb. 4. 

Korey Lovett and Eoro Vasa have set the tone for the Black and Gold in doubles play this season, with a perfect 4-0 record.

The duo was ranked No. 23 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Alan Rubio also was ranked in singles this week. The freshman came in at No. 80 nationally this week and remains undefeated at 3-0 in singles play.

Stetson (5-1) is coming off a 5-2 win over Georgia Southern on Feb. 18. The Hatters also hold victories over Palm Beach Atlantic, Rollins, Florida Southern and Bethue-Cookman this season.

Their lone loss came against Florida Atlantic on Feb. 16.

Stetson fields a younger roster with three freshman, three sophomores, one junior and one senior.

The Knights will take on Stetson Wednesday in Orlando before College Matchday against Michigan on March 3.
