ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's basketball team will look to sweep the season series from Memphis this weekend when the Knights take on the Tigers Sunday. UCF and Memphis are scheduled to tip off at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT from FedEx Forum.

The Knights (14-9, 5-6) aim to get back to their winning ways after dropping a pair of games to two of the top teams in The American, Houston and No. 6 Cincinnati. To do so, UCF will have to defeat Memphis for the fourth straight time.

It would be an impressive feat, given that the Knights had only defeated the Tigers once in 21 meetings prior to the Johnny Dawkins era in Orlando. UCF defeated Memphis at home last season and then eliminated the Tigers from The American Championship in the quarterfinals.

Earlier this season UCF won 65-56 to extend its win streak over Memphis to three games. A.J. Davis led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Ceasar DeJesus and Dayon Griffin added 14 and 13 points, respectively, back on Jan. 3.

The Tigers' (14-10, 5-6) star guard Jeremiah Martin comes into Sunday's game leading the league in scoring with 19.3 points per game. Against the Knights at the start of 2018, Martin was unable to gain any traction, scoring just four points on 1-of-6 shooting in 32 minutes of action.

The Knights will attempt to shut the Memphis offense down once again to come away with the victory this weekend.
