LECANTO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF women's golf team took sixth place at the Florida Challenge, a one-day event held at Black Diamond Ranch on Monday.
UCF was paced by Nicolette Donvan and Kayla Kozak, who each finished in a tie for 16th place. Donovan was 1-over in the first round and 5-over through the second set of 18 holes. She finished 6-over for the two-round tournament. Kozak, playing as an individual, was even par through the first round and 6-over in the second.
Anna Hack, Kaeli Jones and Ana Laura Collado were all tied for 24th. after turning in two-round scores of 8-over. Chinatsu Kobayashi rounded out the Knights' lineup, finishing tied for 41st at +14.
The Knights are back in action again Sunday-Tuesday, hosting the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek.
