ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's basketball team aims to get back to its winning ways on Saturday when the Knights travel to Tampa for the first of two games in the War On I-4 Rivalry Series with USF.

UCF (12-6, 3-3) has lost its last two games against UConn and No. 11 Cincinnati, but the Knights will look to move back over .500 in league play against the Bulls.

USF (7-12, 0-6), meanwhile, has yet to record a win in American Athletic Conference play in its first season under new head coach Brian Gregory.  The Bulls most recently fell at ECU on Wednesday.

While the Knights trail the Bulls 22-13 in the all-time series, it is UCF that has had the upper hand as of late. The Knights have won the last four meetings between the two teams, and have come out victorious in six out of eight matchups since both teams joined The American.

Last season, UCF won 86-64 in Orlando as Matt Williams set a school and conference record with 11 three-pointers, and then won the regular season finale by a score of 59-56 in Tampa. On Saturday, the Knights will look for their fifth straight win over the Bulls

A win in Tampa would also give UCF three points in the season-long all-sports War On I-4 Rivalry Series. The Knights, winners of last season's inaugural season series, currently lead 21-12. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
