ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – With one week to go before the UCF women's tennis team opens up its 2018 season, the Knights have been practicing at the USTA National Campus for the last two weeks.
Head coach Bryan Koniecko will head into his second season with a mix of experience and new energy. Senior Monica Matias guided Puerto Rico to the Fed Cup Americas Group I promotion, earning MVP status in the process.
The Knights open the season next Friday at home against No. 15 South Carolina at 5 p.m., before facing North Texas on Sunday at 11 a.m.
