ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – Following a pair of home wins, the UCF men's basketball team returns to the road, making the quick trip to DeLand to take on Stetson Tuesday evening at the Edmunds Center.
Tuesday's 6 p.m. contest at Stetson will be just the second road game of the season for the Knights and the first since winning at then No. 24 Alabama back on Dec. 3.
UCF (7-3) has won three in a row and aims for its second four-game winning streak of the year against the Hatters (7-6).
Stetson welcomes the Knights to DeLand after a trio of road games. The Hatters lost at Duquesne, then won at Marist, and most recently fell at Fort Wayne on Saturday by a score of 88-84.
UCF has won the last 17 matchups against Stetson in the storied histories of the two programs, dating back to 2002. The Hatters' last win was an 83-65 home victory on Jan. 27, 2001.
Last season the Knights won 81-45 at CFE Arena, behind 18 points from B.J. Taylor and 12 each from Tacko Fall and Chad Brown.
Fall has been dominant the last two times out, averaging 18.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game. The UCF center leads The American in blocked shots and field goal percentage, ranking second in the nation in the latter (76.4).
