CHANDLER, Ariz. (UCFKnights.com) -- The final round of Final Stage of the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament were held at Whirlwind Golf Club's Cattail and Devil's Claw courses this past weekend. Two Varsity Knights advanced all the way through the Final Stage and earned Web.com Tour status for 2018.

Connor Arendell finished the final stage in a tie for 10th place at 18-under par. Arendell was below 70 in three of his four rounds during the final stage. He carded an even-par 72 in the final round to secure his Top 10 finish. By virtue of finishing in 10th place, Arendell assured himself guaranteed entry into the first 12 events of the 2018 Web.com Tour regular season.

Playing for head coach Bryce Wallor at UCF, Arendell earned All-Conference USA First Team honors in 2010-11. He also helped UCF claim a pair of C-USA Championship titles and helped lead the team to a berth in the 2011 NCAA Regionals.

In addition to Arendell, Brad Schneider also completed the entire Web.com Tour Q School. He finished the four-day final stage at 4-under par and tied for 108th. Schneider earns conditional status for the 2018 Web.com Tour.

Schneider was an all-conference and all-region player for the Knights in his senior year of 2012. He also received the David Toms Award for overcoming adversity from the Golf Coaches Association of America.
