ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF football team (11-0, 8-0) will meet Memphis (10-1, 7-1) in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game this Saturday at noon on ABC. This weekend's bout between East and West Division Champions is a rematch of a Sept. 30 contest that the Knights won 40-13.

HONORS UPDATE
Following Saturday's win over USF, McKenzie Milton was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week and Mike Hughes earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors from the league. Milton also received Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week accolades for his performance in the win over the Bulls.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - NOTES TO KNOW
- The Knights are 11-0 for the first time in school history and their 11-game winning streak is a program record, besting the 2013 team's nine straight victories.
- It marks the first time UCF has finished the regular season unbeaten and it's the second time the team has finished perfect in American Athletic Conference games (2013).
- UCF is ranked 11th in the Coaches Poll, 12th in the AP Poll and 15th in the CFP Rankings. The Coaches Poll ranking of 11th is the highest in-season ranking in program history.
- The Knights lead the nation in scoring offense, recording 48.3 points per game, while Memphis is second at 47.0 points per game.
- Having scored 30 or more points in each of their first 11 games of the season, the Knights own the longest current streak of games with 30+ points at 11 games. UCF is the only team in the nation that has won all of its games by 30 or more points in 2017.
- UCF leads the all-time series between the two teams by a mark of 10-1, having won the last 10 games against Memphis.
- Since 1996 (when UCF entered FBS play), no other team has gone winless and then won 10+ games in under two years.
- The last time these two teams met, UCF won 40-13 at Spectrum Stadium. McKenzie Milton threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns, Adrian Killins Jr. had 115 rushing yards and a score, and Tre'Quan Smith hauled in a pair of receiving touchdowns.

At head coach Scott Frost's weekly press conference he began by saying that this isn't a rematch of the same two teams that played back on Sept. 30.
"We've evolved. They've evolved," he said. "They had a lot of injuries on defense early on in the year and they've got some young guys who have improved as the year's gone along. Schematically, they have some different tendencies on defense. Offensively they're playing lights out. They're an improved team from when we saw them the first time."
After a thrilling, and likely exhausting game on Friday, Frost was asked how his team will be able to bounce back for yet another important test this weekend.
"My first question for them this morning was 'you got enough juice for one more?'" he said about his comments to the team at Monday's practice. "There was an enthusiastic response. Hopefully they got some of the celebration out of them the last couple days. I told them that we're done patting ourselves on the back over that game. It's time to go back to work."
