General

  • UCF captains: Aaron Evans, Shaquem Griffin, McKenzie Milton, Jamiyus Pittman
  • Coin Toss:  UCF won toss, deferred. UCF kicked off and defended the north goal.
  • UCF set a school record with 531 points (and counting) this season.
  • The sellout crowd of 47,129 was the third-largest crowd in stadium history.
  • The Knights clinched their first American Athletic Conference East Division title under head coach Scott Frost. It was UCF's first division title in The American.
  • UCF finished the regular season undefeated (11-0) for the first time in program history.
  • Frost remains undefeated as a father.
  • UCF scored with 1:28 remaining in the game. It was the latest the Knights have scored to take the lead in a game this season.

 
Offense

  • UCF's 49 points marked the 11th straight game with 30+ points.
  • The Knights finished with 533 total yards of offense, marking the seventh time UCF has finished with more than 500 yards of offense.
  • McKenzie Milton's first-quarter rushing TD was his sixth of the season.
  • With Milton's aforementioned TD run, UCF has scored on its first possession in 8-of-11 games.
  • Adrian Killins' first quarter rushing TD was his ninth of the season.
  • Milton claimed sole possession of seventh for career completions with his 10th of the afternoon. He now has 415 completions after a 29-44 outing.
  • Milton tied Daunte Culpepper for second in single season passing TD. His 28th of the season came with 8:30 remaining in the third quarter to put the Knights up 28-20.
  • Dredrick Snelson finished with four receptions, including two for TDs.
  • Otis Anderson's TD run was his fourth of the season.

 
Defense

  • Jamiyus Pittman's sack in the second quarter was his third of the season.
  • Mike Hughes recorded his fourth interception of the season to end the second quarter, tying Kyle Gibson for the team-lead in INT.
  • Chequan Burkett recorded his first solo sack of the season in the fourth quarter.
  • The Knights had nine TFL, which is the second-most this season.
  • Richie Grant forced his first fumble of the season to seal the victory for the Knights with 39 seconds remaining.
     

Special Teams

  • Mike Hughes returned the second kickoff for a TD of his career – a 95-yd return that put the Knights ahead 49-42 with 1:28 remaining in the game. It ties for the ninth-longest single kick return.
  • Hughes is the first Knight since Quincy McDuffie (2012) to return multiple kicks for TDs in a season. He is tied for third in single-season returns for touchdown and third in career.
