ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's basketball team continues its home stand with the UCF Thanksgiving Classic. The two-day tournament begins Saturday at noon with a neutral site matchup between Northern Iowa and Wyoming. UCF takes on IUPUI at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 25
Northern Iowa vs. Wyoming– 12 p.m.
UCF vs. IUPUI – 2:30 p.m.
 
Sunday, Nov. 26
IUPUI vs. Wyoming – 11 a.m.
UCF vs. Northern Iowa – 1:30 p.m.
 
THE KNIGHTS
UCF (2-3) continues its home stand with a pair of games in the UCF Thanksgiving Classic.
 
Senior Aliyah Gregory scored a season-high 22 points in the last outing against Elon and leads the Knights with an average of 16.0 points per game. The Tampa native moved into seventh on UCF's all-time scoring list with 1,232 points.
 
Senior Fifi Ndour leads the Knights on the boards, averaging 6.4 rebounds per game and is second with 12.6 points per contest. Redshirt junior Nyala Shuler is UCF's second-leading rebounder with 5.8 boards per game, and has a team-high 12 steals this season. Freshman Masseny Kaba averages 5.6 boards per game.
 
Sophomore Korneila Wright averages 10.2 points per game for the Black and Gold and has a team-high 22 assists through the first five games.
 
THE FIELD
UCF opens the tournament against IUPUI on Saturday. The Jaguars are 3-0 on the campaign and led by Sydney Hall's 11.3 points per game. Macee Williams averages 7.0 rebounds per contest and Agatha Beier has a team-leading 12 assists.
 
The Knights are 1-0 against IUPUI, with the lone meeting coming on Dec. 19, 1984.
 
On Sunday, UCF will face Northern Iowa, who enters the weekend 1-2 on the season. Kennedy Kirkpatrick leads UNI with 14.3 points per game. Megan Maahs averages a double-double for the Panthers, pulling down 14.3 rebounds per game while scoring 11.0 points per contest.
 
UNI holds the lone victory in the all-time series against the Knights, a 76-57 win in the San Juan Shootout on Nov. 23, 2001.
 
Though the Knights won't face them, Wyoming will also suit up at CFE Arena this weekend. The Cowgirls are 4-0 overall this season and will take on UNI and IUPUI. Liv Roberts leads Wyoming with an average of 15.3 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per contest.
 
NEXT UP
UCF will travel to Birmingham, Ala., to face Samford on Nov. 30. The Knights are back in CFE Arena on Dec. 10 to host Georgia Southern.
