ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF football team is 10-0 and after another lopsided victory this past Saturday, quarterback McKenzie Milton was named The American Offensive Player of the Week for yet another outstanding performance.
The No. 12/13 Knights routed Temple 45-19 in Philadelphia behind four touchdown passes from Milton. The sophomore went 16-of-23 for 208 passing yards and rushed for a score in less than three quarters of action.
It marked the third Player of the Week honor for Milton this season, the most of any offensive player in The American.
Milton is among the nation's leaders in completion percentage (2nd, .696), passing efficiency (2nd, 186.1), passing touchdowns (12th, 26), passing yards per game (292.8, 13th) and total offense (8th, 330.1).
Shaquem Griffin was named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll on Monday for his performance against the Owls. The senior recorded his second career interception and forced a fumble in the victory.
