Serrano faced a similar challenge in the Seminole draw championship match against Andrea Garcia of Florida State. The Spanish international rallied to a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory.

Emilia Granstrom finished in fourth place for the Speicher draw after falling to Lyn Yuen Choo from West Virginia 6-1, 6-2.

Silvia Bordes won the opening set of the seventh-place math in the Garnett division, but an injury forced her to withdraw from the match in the second set.
