BAY LAKE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – A pair of top 12 finishes helped the UCF cross country team to fourth place at the 2017 Disney Cross Country Classic on Saturday morning.
Rosie Chamberlain crossed the line in a season-best 18:48.2 to take eighth in the individual standings. Beth Williams was close behind, finishing 11th with a time of 18:56.3.
Kalleigh Forrester was the third Knight across the line, finishing 42nd with a time of 19:49.6. Marissa Codispodi took 45th with a time of 19:50.1.
Jessica Dolan (20:42.6), Laura Korsmit (20:45.8), Victoria Jung (20:53.2), Crystal Tejeda (21:06.4), Shiree Hinds (21:21.0) and Kayla McGowan (21:34.7) all finished in the top 112 on Saturday morning.
UCF returns to action at the USF Invitational on Oct. 14.
