ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- UCF head men's golf coach Bryce Wallor has announced his team's lineup for the Homewood Hilton Airport Invite, hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University.
The Knights will play at Old Corkscrew in Estero, Fla. The team lineup will consist of Kyler Tate, Juuso Kahlos, Manuel Elvira, Donnie Trosper and Bobby Bai. Jake Grula will take part in the touranment as an individual.
The following is a look at qualifying criteria for this tournnament:
- Kyler Tate qualified for the 2017 FGCU Invitational by earning an exemption for a top 30 finish at the 2017 TCI. (T17)
- Juuso Kahlos earned a coaches selection for the 2017 FGCU Invitational by virtue of his season-long tournament scoring average of 72.
- Manuel Elvira earned a coaches selection the 2017 FGCU Invitational by virtue his season-long tournament scoring average of 74.58.
- Donnie Trosper earned a coaches selection for the 2017 FGCU Invitational by virtue of his season-long tournament scoring average of 73.08.
- Bobby Bai earned a coaches selection for the 2017 FGCU Invitational by virtue of his season-long tournament scoring average of 72.67.
Individual - Jake Grula qualified as an individual for the 2017 FGCU Invitational by virtue of a one-day playoff versus Tommy Cao. Grula won the one day shootout with a score of 72 over Cao's score of 82.
