ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – In his second season at the helm, head coach Scott Frost has orchestrated a special season for the Knights. UCF has won its first six games of the season and is positioning itself for a prestigious bowl.
2017 will mark the ninth bowl appearance in program history.
"That's where we should be as a program, is in a bowl game every year," Frost said. "With everything we have to offer here at UCF, I think it's really important for our team so these seniors get an opportunity to play one more time together and be rewarded for what they've done."
The Knights emerged victorious in three of their last five bowl matchups, including a 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory over Georgia 10-6 and a 52-42 win over Baylor in the 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
