ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The official groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion to John Euliano Park is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the UCF Baseball Complex.
The total cost of the expansion to John Euliano Park is slated to be $3 million. Euliano, a friend to the program and Vice Chair of the UCF Foundation Board of Directors, graciously donated $1.5 million last year to get the project rolling.
The main upgrade to the stadium will be a new home-plate tower. When construction is completed, the tower will feature a 300-seat premium club section, which will include outdoor seating and indoor amenities, such as an air-conditioned lounge, food and beverage service, private restrooms and a dedicated entrance to the space.
Other enhancements to the stadium are scheduled to be part of the expansion.
The ceremony on Oct. 28 will feature remarks from UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Daniel J. White, head baseball coach Greg Lovelady and John Euliano.
