ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Homecoming Week has arrived at UCF. From Spirit Splash to Fireworks Fest, Friday is full of festivities.
Here's a look at everything going on before the Knights host ECU.
Friday Events
Spirit Splash – Noon, UCF Reflection Pond
One of the biggest Homecoming traditions in the country, over 10,0000 students come together to celebrate UCF at the reflection pond. T-shirt distribution begins at noon, with festivities starting shortly after. Ducks will be thrown, music will be loud and the school spirit will be at an absolute maximum at Sprit Splash 2017.
ChargeOn: Beyond the Sport – 2 p.m., Classroom Building II, Room 106
A unique professional development opportunity for UCF's graduates and friends, this first-of-its-kind panel at UCF features Olympic gold medalists and national champions. Head coaches Greg Lovelady, Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak, Johnny Dawkins, Jeanette Bolden and Katie Abrahamson-Henderson will share their personal stories. The group will discuss themes like leadership, motivation, teamwork and what it takes to reach the highest level of success in your personal and professional life.

UCF Volleyball vs. UConn - 7 p.m., The Venue
The UCF volleyball team returns to action on Friday evening, hosting UConn in an American Athletic Conference matchup inside The Venue. The team is also welcoming back former Knights for Alumni Weekend.

Homecoming Hoops on the Plaza presented by First Watch – 7: 30 p.m., CFE Arena Plaza
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to meet players from both the UCF men's and women's basketball teams and compete in contests to win prizes.
The first 1,000 students at the event will receive a First Watch gift card and one lucky student will have the opportunity to participate in the half-court shot contest presented by First Watch. If the lucky contestant makes the shot, they will receive tuition for a semester.
Fireworks Fest – 9 p.m., Memory Mall
Beginning at 7 p.m., Memory Mall will have food trucks, vendors, live entertainment and will conclude with the Fourth Annual UCF Homecoming Fireworks Fest. The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.
Saturday Timeline
1 p.m. – All lots open
3:15 p.m. – Justin Grimes in concert
4:53 p.m. – Knights Walk
5 p.m. – Drake White in concert
6 p.m. – March To Victory
7:02 p.m. – Kickoff
