Knights at Top of Leaderboard

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF men's golf team is tied for first place heading into the final round of the Wolf Run Intercollegiate, hosted by Indiana University.

The Knights and Miami (Ohio) were the only two teams in the 16-team field to shoot below 300 in both of the first two rounds. UCF and the Redhawks are tied for first place at 15-over par in the tournament being held at the Wolf Run Golf Club.

Kyler Tate led the way for UCF Saturday. He fired a 2-over 73 and is 2-over for the tournament as well. Saturday's score allowed him to move five spots up the leaderboard into a tie for fourth place, just four strokes off the lead. Juuso Kahlos is tied for 17th at 6-over, after carding a 78 Saturday.

The other three Knights in the team lineup -- Donnie Trosper, Manuel Elvira and Bobby Bai -- are clustered at +7 in a tie for 20th place.

Tommy Cao is playing as an individual for the Knights and is tied for 43rd at +12.

Sunday's third and final round starts at 9:30 a.m. ET. Live scoring is available by clicking the link above.
