ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – One week after making its return to the United Soccer Coaches poll, the UCF women's soccer team jumped four spots to No. 20 in Tuesday's latest ranking.

The Knights enter the week riding a four-game win streak. UCF (4-1) has topped two Pac 12 opponents and an ACC foe in the first five contests of the season.

UCF also moved up a spot in the Southeast region. At fourth, the Knights swapped places with SMU and is now the top-ranked American Athletic Conference squad in the region.

The Knights are no stranger to the United Soccer Coaches – previously known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) – rankings. From Dec. 2011 until Sept. 2015, the Knights had been ranked or receiving votes in every NSCAA poll.

On Monday, freshman Madison Murnin became the second Knight to earn The American's Rookie of the Week accolade. The Jacksonville, Fla., native's first collegiate goal was the game winner against Arizona on Sept. 1.

UCF returns to action on Friday, hosting LSU at 7 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex. The Knights will then travel to FIU for a 2 p.m. Sunday match.
