YouTube

ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – UCF sophomore quarterback McKenzie Milton led the Knights to a 61-17 victory over FIU this past Thursday. On Monday, he was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Milton was an efficient 16-of-21 before taking the final quarter and a half off. He recorded career-best marks of 360 yards passing and four touchdowns and his 273.5 quarterback rating ranks third in the nation through the first week-plus of action.

The Kapolei, Hawaii native is the first Knight to earn Offensive Player of the Week accolades from The American since Justin Holman received the accolades back on Oct. 13, 2014.  UCF was honored by the league three times last year (Drico Johnson – Defense, Shaquem Griffin – Defense, Adrian Killins – Special Teams).
