ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF cross country team returns to action on Saturday, making the trip to Gainesville for the Mountain Dew Invitational.
The meet will take place at the University of Florida Golf Course. The women's 5K is slated for an 8:30 a.m. start.
UCF will join 32 female squads, including Florida State, USF, Miami and host Florida. Last season the Knights finished third as a team, while Rosie Chamberlain and Brittany Gill both placed in the top 25.
The Knights opened the season on Sept. 1 at the FAU Invitational. Beth Williams was the top finisher her UCF debut, crossing the line ninth overall. Chamberlain was just behind her, finishing 10th. UCF took third place as a team.
