SOUTH KENT, Conn. (UCFKnights.com) -- With four players in the top seven after one round of play, the UCF men's golf team is in first place at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. The Knights posted a first-round score of 273 (-15) and held a 10-stroke lead after the first 18 holes.

A trio of Knights -- Kyler Tate, Bobby Bai and Donnie Trosper -- were all 3-under in the first round, contributing to the Knights' first-place standing.

Playing as an individual, Tommy Cao was 1-under and is tied for 12th. Manuel Elvira rounded out the UCF lineup. He was 4-over and is tied for 61st.

The second round began Monday, but was suspended due to darkness. The second round will be completed Tuesday before the third and final round begins.
