FRANKLIN, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) -- Maria Balcazar set a new UCF women's golf record for lowest 18-hole score Saturday afternoon at the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club. Balcazar fired a 65, besting the previous record of 66.
The sophomore from Mexico carded four birdies on the both the front and back nines. She had just one bogey all day. Her score of 7-under for the day moved her to -8 for the tournament and into a tie for second place heading into Sunday's final round of action.
Other Knights taking part in the Mason Rudolph Championship are as follows:

As a team, the Knights are currently in 13th place at 15 strokes over par. UCF will be on the course Sunday at 9:25 a.m.
