ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's soccer team continues its climb in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25, jumping five spots to No. 15 in Tuesday's poll.
UCF (4-1) has topped two Pac 12 opponents and an ACC foe in the first five contests of the season, and enters this weekend on a four-match win streak.
The Knights are not strangers to the United Soccer Coaches – previously known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) – rankings. From Dec. 2011 until Sept. 2015, the Knights had been ranked or receiving votes in every NSCAA poll. The Black and Gold returned to the poll on Aug. 28, jumping in at No. 24.
UCF returns to action on Friday, hosting FGCU at 7 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex. The Knights open American Athletic Conference action on the road at Cincinnati on Sept. 21.
