ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF head coach Jeanette Bolden announced the 2017 cross country schedule on Thursday, which features six in-state meets.
The Knights begin on Sept. 2, traveling to Boca Raton for the FAU Invitational. UCF continues the following weekend, heading to Jacksonville for the UNF Invitational on Sept. 9.
The Black and Gold return to action on Sept. 23 at the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville.
Following the Florida Runner Invitational on Sept. 29, the Knights make the short trip across town for the Disney Invitational Oct. 6-7.
The Knights will compete at the USF Invitational on Oct. 14 as a final preparation for the American Athletic Conference Championship, held in Philadelphia on Oct. 28.
The NCAA South Region Championship is slated for Nov. 10 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.. The NCAA Championship will take place Nov. 18 in Louisville, Ky.
Senior Rosie Chamberlain highlights the list of returners for the Knights. She finished in the top 100 at the NCAA South Region Championships last season. Redshirt senior Marissa Codispodi and sophomore Tori Jung continued to improve as the season progressed last season, posting personal best marks in regional action last fall.
