Why did you choose UCF?
KF: I chose UCF because the environment of the campus is so friendly and because my teammates were so fun and welcoming!
What do you want fans to remember about you?
KF: I want people to remember me at UCF as a hardworking and determined athlete, while also an uplifting and positive spirit.
What's your favorite thing about the campus?
KF: My favorite thing about the UCF campus is Lake Claire because it's such a beautiful place to hang out.
What's your favorite memory at UCF?
KF: My best UCF memory so far is my official visit during my senior year of high school.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
KF: Something people might be surprised to know about me is that I was a setter my first years playing volleyball.
What's your biggest accomplishment?
KF: My biggest accomplishment to date is winning my second national championship my last year of club volleyball and being named to the all tournament team again.
What are your career aspirations?
KF: For my career I hope to successfully complete medical school and specialize in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
What's the best advice you've ever received?
KF: The best advice I have ever received was from my high school volleyball coach. I was a very mental player and she told me to let my body take over my mind, because volleyball is a 90% mental game, and mentality is what distinguishes a good player from a great player.
What are your expectations as a freshman?
KF: My expectations this year is to help my team be as successful as we can with the mindset of winning conference.
Why did you choose your number?
KF: I chose my jersey number 15 because that was the number I was as a freshmen on the varsity volleyball team in high school, and when my volleyball career really hit a turning point.
