ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Head rowing coach Becky Cramer recently signed a new five-year deal that will keep her under contract to UCF through June 2022.
Cramer led the Knights to their third consecutive American Athletic Conference championship this past spring, sweeping all six events in Sarasota. Just two weeks later, UCF posted its highest NCAA finish in program history. Cramer also earned her third straight American Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year accolade.
"I love coaching at UCF and I am extremely grateful to Dr. Daniel J. White and David Hansen for their confidence in me and for the tremendous support of our program and our student athletes," Cramer said. "The energy on our team and in the Athletics Department is amazing. I am honored have the opportunity to continue to build on our successes and represent the Black and Gold."
Cramer joined the Knights in 2003 as an assistant coach of the staff and served as interim head coach for the 2008 campaign before taking the role full time in June of that year. She guided the program to its first conference title in 2015, followed by two more in 2016 and 2017. Cramer has led the Knights to NCAA Championship bids in each of the last three seasons.
