ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The Knights' Charge, UCF Athletics' Strategic Plan, will serve as a guide for the athletic department over the next five years. The document was released by UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Daniel J. White Wednesday.
The full strategic plan document comes on the heels of the release of UCF Athletics' Mission, Vision, Core Values and Goals that were announced in January.
"When I arrived at UCF, I felt it was important to implement a strategic plan to help guide us," White said. "It's important for me to say thank you to the many people who put in a great deal of time and effort putting this plan together. As I've said for the past year and a half, we plan to be aggressive and we aspire to be a Top 25 intercollegiate athletics program. The Knights' Charge gives us a map to follow as we continue building toward that goal. With the support of our great university, fan base and the Orlando community, we can achieve our vision."
The release of the Knights' Charge is the culmination of a year-long process. In June 2016, White initiated a process to develop a strategic plan that could serve UCF Athletics into the year 2022.
