MEDFORD, Ore. (UCFKnights.com) -- UCF signee and incoming freshman Kayla Kozak won an the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Junior at Centennial earlier this week. It was Kozak's first-ever AJGA title.

She went wire to wire in the tournament, which was played at Centennial Golf Club. Kozak entered the final round tied for first place but was able to sparate herself with a par on the final hole of the tournament to take the victory.

Kozak tallied three birdies and an eagle in the final round and finished the three-round event with a 6-under score of 210. Kozak and runner-up Kiana Oshiro were the only two golfers in the field to finish under par in each round.

Kozak will join her Knight teammates this fall as they open the 2017-18 college golf campaign.
