ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) - Former UCF standout Matt Williams enjoyed one of the most successful senior seasons in Knights men's basketball history in 2016-17. Now, the Orlando native needs to figure out what is next.

Williams has hired an agent and has been working out in Phoenix for the last few weeks. He made his way back home this weekend, however, to workout for the hometown Orlando Magic.  After going through drills and testing at the Amway Center with coaches and front office executives watching on, Williams spoke about his experiences so far.

"It was a good experience. We got some good work in," Williams said. "I'm trying to take everything in and learn as much as I can from this process. I'm taking a serious approach to all the workouts and making sure that when I'm working out, I leave everything out on the court."

Williams did that in his time at UCF, leaving the Knights as the program's record holder for most three-pointers in a career (274), in a season (126) and in a single game (11). He finished with 1,105 career points, becoming the 18th member of UCF's 1,000-Point Club.

Before leaving his workout with the Magic, Williams had one message for Knight Nation. Check it out below or hear more in the video above.
