ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After winning the conference series against Memphis at home over the weekend, the UCF Baseball team is heading out on a nine-game road swing. The trip is set to begin with a midweek game at North Florida on Tuesday with the first pitch against the Osprey's scheduled for 6 p.m. at Harmon Stadium.

The Knights are 31-13 thus far in 2017, already five games better than a year ago. With just 12 scheduled games remaining in the regular season, every matchup is crucial as The Black and Gold are currently tied atop The American standings with Houston, UConn, & South Florida.

UNF boasts a 29-15 overall record including a 10-2 mark in the Atlantic Sun. The two teams met once earlier this year, when the Knights defeated the Ospreys 3-2 back on Feb. 21 at the UCF Baseball Complex.

UCF remains among the best in the nation in total ERA, checking in at No. 4 with a 2.64 team total. Black and Gold Hurlers have struck out 407 batters and walked just 139.

The Knights offense is hitting a combined .282 with 78 doubles, 15 triples, and 34 home runs and is fifth in the NCAA on the base paths, stealing 85 total bases thus far.
Following Tuesday's tilt, UCF heads to Tulane for a three-game conference series with the Green Wave May 5-7.

The Knights will also visit Miami and FAU for a single game each and play three more games on the road at Cincinnati before returning home to close out the regular season against rival South Florida.

The contest will be streaming live but fans can also follow along via live stats by clicking here.
