GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF tallied a hit in four different frames on Wednesday evening at No. 1 Florida, but was unable to string those base knocks together in a 9-1 six-inning loss at Katie Seashole Pressley Stadium. Junior centerfielder Megan Greenwell beat out a bunt single, then swiped her 25th stolen base of the season. The Miami, Fla., native came around to score on Rotton's sac fly to the warning track in left field.

Base knocks were also registered by senior right fielder Willow Kalinen and sophomore catcher Cassady Brewer.

Freshman Alea White notched one strikeout in the complete game and fell to 16-12 on the campaign.

Nicole DeWitt led the Gators with three hits, while Kayli Kvistad and Chelsea Herdon each drove in three runs. The win was notched by Aleshia Ocasio (8-0), who recorded five strikeouts over five innings of work.
