WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF men's golf team wrapped up the regular season and completed its final tune-up for the postseason Sunday. The Knights finished tied for sixth at the Boilermaker Invitational, hosted by Purdue University.

Kent State won the tournament with a three-round total of 865 (+1). UCF recorded a score of 888 (+24).

The Knights were paced by Juuso Kahlos, who finished in a tie for 13th. Kahlos shot an even par 72 Sunday and finished 3-over (75-72-72-219) for the tournament. Donnie Trosper also turned in a Top 20 finish. He was just one stroke behind Kahlos at +4 (73-76-71-220).

Manuel Elvira carded a three-round total of 224 with scores of 77-70-77 to finish 8-over par and tie for 37th place. Bobby Bai (73-79-77) and Kyler Tate (74-79-76) were both tied for 54th at 229 (+13). George Williams took part in the tournament as an individual. He finished tied for 37th (82-75-67-224 +8).

The Knights will now begin preparations for the American Athletic Conference Championship, which will be held April 23-25 at the Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort in Tampa.
